There is a vibration which to me is coming from the dash. I took it to a shop and was told that the air intake box was vibrating and that the motor mounts were "sagging" which allows the vibration to be carried to the cab. Anyone ever hear of this?

Don't know anything about sagging motor mounts,, if your air intake is vibrating it's where the box goes into the pass. fender.
Take out the two bolts that hold it to the inner fender and undo the hose clamp to remove the box.
Once that's done you'll be able to see the cheap foam gasket that is around the air horn, which is what goes bad allowing the plastic horn to vibrate on the fender.
What I did was put new foam tape around the air horn and that cured my noise.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. Tried to see if Toyota had posted a service bulletin on this subject. Anyway, a little foam tape and the noise is gone. Now I'm annoyed at the shop that wanted to change the motor mounts.

    Thanks!
    Bill
