    Hi all,

My ’99 4x4 seems has a growing list of electrical problems. I wonder if they might be related or if it’s just because she’s getting old.

First the power door locks stopped working, a couple weeks later the horn quit. Last night when I turned on the headlights it seemed like there was a slight delay before they came on, tonight they did not work at all, high beams and low are out.

I do have a Toyota alarm on the vehicle but haven’t used it in years because the remotes have both worn out.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Thoughts about where I should start looking first?

Thanks in advance and happy holidays to all.

Any work done to the truck right before the problems?

Could be a ground strap corroding to rust.

No work was done but I didn’t think about a ground strap. I’ll look into that. Thanks.
