I'm just wondering if anybody else here has finally said there done worrying about there truck and just drive it . I was nervous about the engine tick . Then about the drive line vibe then the dang front diff vibe and right before I traded the truck in it hit me. Those first guys that freaked out in 2005-2006 when they heard there engine tick and wasted countless hours with BS TSB,s replacing exhaust manifolds and purge valves and other things to just have the tick still .well those trucks are still driving around 100k+ miles and still ticking away . And now when I was getting my front bushing installed hearing all the stories of guys that just had there bushing installed at 190,000 and the front diff was still fine , I think I'm done worrying about this mess and time to just enjoy the noisy , vibrating tacoma for another 100k life's to short, time to turn up the radio and forget the noises

Agreed, don't worry till there's something to worry about, throwing money at nothing, though I'm not advocating against preventative maintenance, etc.

And then the 2017 TRD Pro that's released, then the 2018 facelift. It's a never ending cycle, have to learn to be happy with what you have sometimes.

Agreed! Barely had an oil change on my '14 when I started reading about all the "issues". Worried about it for a few months and finally have decided....it's the truck I've wanted since high school, I'm going to enjoy it and drive it, and not worry about the engine seizing or the frame rusting out from under me.
