    Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a the best source for removing and replacing the engine in a 2005?

I did a search and I am still searching...found some service manuals but not very detailed. I was also going to pick up a chitons or Haynes but wanted to see if anyone has done this and if the manuals were detailed enough?

    Any help would be great!

This is the 1gr-fe (4.0 V6) so far everything is as in the manuals etc(I am pulling today). A couple things I have learned:

This clips that hold the main electrical are a PITA but a 6mm box wrech slides from underneath and pinches the anchors...good find

There are 2 spots on either side of the block to put lift brackets. I built my own, and I will add pics

Other than that just take your time. You have the usual hard to get to bolts and nuts etc. :)

I wish I would have taken more pics and details now that I am here. But I will add what I can :)
