Things to look at when buying a used Tocoma?

I am planning on buying my first Tocoma 4 door, used, 2012-2014. What things should I look at under the hood, under the body, things that are potential problems of Tocomas that people who really know Tocomas only know? Thanks, Jim

take one of those thin magnets you stick on the frig and look for bondo or evidence of non metal under the paint... if the magnet dont stick then there aint no metal at that spot, ergo rust or body damage... look for vin stickers on all body parts, inside doors, under hood etc... if no sticker then part has been replaced..or if the sticker has been painted over....feel up under dash, look behind glove box for any kinda of heavy dirt or goo ( if found then car has been flooded) ...crank car and watch what lites come on ..the ones youre looking for are the chk engine, airbag and brake lite shd all come on and then turn off...check dipstick..you DONT WANNA SEE A MOOSY LOOKING SUBSTANCE ON THE STICK, you wanna see at least fairly clean oil,...blk oil on stick and oil way past needing a change
look under car for leaks and check frame
