So I'm looking for some help on switching the stock diff lock switch for a toggle switch with a cover over it. I'm doing this becaus I did the locker anytime mod and don't want to accidentally push it and destroy my rear end.

So the deal is I went to switch it out but when I pulled the dash apart and popped the switch out I noticed there were four wires leading into the switch. I have little experience with wiring so I have no ideas which ones are which and where I should put them. Also the toggle switch only has two terminals so will it still work? Thanks!

Could I connect the illumination wires and switch wires to the same terminals?

I know the chances are slim, it will just make me feel that much more comfortable having it protected.

Ok thats it haha. I knew what type of switch I bought. Im mainly wondering now if theres a way to wire it or add something in to make the light work on the dash, if not then no big deal. Thats what the cover if for:) You answered my question of which wires I need to connect to each other so thank you!
