side mirrors?

so i thinking about gettin some new jdm side mirrors for my new 07 tacoma, but they have the side markers/blinker, has anybody upgraded their side mirrors?

both, I have not changed side mirrors nor do I like those.

Now if the black was less shiny then mabey, but they seem to shiny to me. If you do get them I would be interested to see, it may look entirely different actually mounted on the truck.

 

true true, just wondering if anybody had ever tried to wire these kind of mirrors before(ones with the lights on it). i assume it would go through the body to the headlights????

How are these "JDM"? There are no Tacos in Japan, only in North America.

 

If the new mirror units have both marker and signal / blinker functions, you'd need to wire them somehow into both the head / tail illumination and the turn signal circuits.

Do they have one circuit for both functions, or two?

 

I think they would be ok on a x-runner

 

does anyone know where i can get some painted covers for my mirrors and door handles

 

i was thinking this too - the best bet is to buy the "chrome" ones off ebay or where ever and either have them painted or get some color matched paint in a can and paint them your self. i did the eyelids that way and they can out great. i can not find any BSP mirrors or handles for a reasonable price.
