Opinions on Mobile Generators for Expeditions

Does anyone out there on the ole' interweb have any knowledge they would like to share about generators? Preferable one that is compact, and cheap yet reliable. Any feedback is appreciated, Thanks

 

Honda make some of the best. I don't own one personally but I hear they are small, quiet, and reliable.

 

used to own a honda eu2000i for running tire warmers at trackdays. loved that genny. super quiet and extremely fuel-efficient. and you're guaranteed to get your money out of it if you ever go to sell it.

 

I used the generator in the middle of the photo to run a Graco sprayer while painting about six acres of fencing on my farm here. The Honda generators will be the best but that little two stroke generator is only $99.99 and surprisingly quiet while I worked.
