I was wondering the same thing about the auto door locking. I had a 06 Jeep that did the auto lock and I got use to it.

    Hey Guys
I just made a post about this then I found this thread. I just bought a used 04 and I would think it has an aftermarket keyless/remote start. The remote says AVITAL on it, This surely isnt factory is it and is that sight only for factory or any remote. I want my truck to lock when I put in drive and unlock when put in park. Thanks

I have a 1st gen and for this to work, I had to reverse step H. Their way - Wait for the locks to stop, then remove the key from the ignition switch. What I did - Remove the key from the ignition switch, wait for the locks to stop, then continue.

    Hope this helps.

I recently purchased a 2010 Tacoma and the only thing that I dislike about it is the door locks. The locks are programmed to first unlock the drivers door and then all the others. Is there any way to reprogram it to one touch of the keypad unlocks all the doors?
