    i figured this may be useful, as every once in a while someone is looking for service manual downloads. well........here ya go!! shold be good for gen 1 and 2 tacomas.....plus other toyotas are on there also i believe. hope this helps everyone out!! i think this is actually page 2, but you can go back on page 1 and see all the downloads there too! i actually found this on tundrasolutions......good info.

    Anyone know where I can find a workshop or service manual for the 2008 Tacoma?

    It looks like all of those downloads are 2006 and earlier.

    Everything should be the same. I'd think that the 2009 would be the first that might have some significant changes.

    01 SR: Double Cab conversion, S/C, lowered.
    Traditionally, about the only things that change from model year to model year within generations are wire colors (rarely) and whatever might be associated with brand new features or components.

    Like lsocoee said - 2009 is the first year I'd suspect there may be areas where the 2005 / 2006 documentation wouldn't be useful.
