8 months ago I was sent up to the arctic for work. The brakes on my 98 Tacoma has always been a bit of a dissapointment. I installed Wagner Edge ceramic front pads and I would have to say the brakes are now the strong point of the truck. Even going down very steep grades on ice roads (I was actually north of Yellowknife where Ice road truckers is filmed) I had complete control no wheel lock and the truck does not have ABS. I'm not one for expensive hype aftermarket parts, but cermaic pads made a huge difference on the Taco, I will pay the extra and install them on all my vehicles now.
