to add to this if you want to regear and are planning on doing something with your diff such as locker mods or lsd or whatever save up for doing both things at the same time, will save you a decent amount of money and time tearing into there twice.

What do you mean wrong install kits? Wrong parts? Instructions?

If you cant find the bearings anywhere else around town, which you probably wont be able to, go to your local dealer. They more then likely will not have them either, but can have them in about two days usually. OEM carrier bearings are right at 50 a pop. I couldnt tell you how much the rest will run you because I got them all from www.ringpinion.com. It might be something to look into, as they stock nearly everything and can overnight them to you if needed. If you do decide to go with randy's, call them up and speak with them to place your order. Their customer service is excellent.

Also, FWIW you are going to need a press to get those carrier bearings on if you are replacing them.

Nope, I put a LSD in it, which involves replacing the carrier. A re-gear is a tad bit more involved. I have done a couple rear ends though so its nothing new. You can search around the net and find some write-ups, but I would make sure you have all the proper tools first or your re-gear will be a waste of money. If you don't get your backlash set just right, your new gears will be toast in no time. Check out east coast gear supply. I think they have a write up on their sight that can guide you in the right direction.

I'm pretty chill dude. The only reason why I said what was said, is because people trash their stuff all the time doing gear changes. With what was posted, there is no way to differentiate you knowing what your doing or not, so I'll assume you don't, and cover all the bases in one post instead of wasting my time with 5. Anyways, this is what you need. you're going to start at page 85 and go on from there.

Just take your time and you'll get it. It can be a little frustrating sometimes.

It shouldn't be too bad in comparison to the rear. Here is a write-up on the rear (factory service manual). I did not realize you had a 4x4 or I would have gave it to you yesterday.
