Debadged 2008 Rugged Trail 2008 Double Cab Automatic 4.0 L V6
Working on the stereo, painted the front skid plate black to match the truck, debadged Looking into a supercharger and new exhaust.
Is the dash cluster required while driving?
I'm considering pulling my dash cluster and sending it to that chap on here that will solder new LEDs. I would still need to drive my truck while he has the cluster. I have a scan gauge, so I'd have a good idea of my speed and my full levels (as well as other engine vitals). I'm curious, no so much on the legality, but if the truck requires anything within the cluster to operate properly. I am pretty sure the odometer readings are located within ECU and not actually stored in the cluster.

Am I missing anything here?
