I have a 97' tacoma, and everything on it works just fine except this problem. Whenever i rev the truck up to high RPMs while passing someone on the road the truck runs just fine. But sometimes when i begin to come to a stop the engine will die and all dash lights will come on. The truck will then start right back up if you give it a little gas, and won't to it again. It doesn't do it all all the time or anytime consistently, just whenever it feels like it. It happens so infrequently that i really never worried about it, but i just can't seem to diagnose what the problem might be. Any help would be appreciated.

Get some electronic contact cleaner, and clean the MAF.
