The little green light bulb stays on all the time on my truck:confused: I have checked all my lights and every one of them is working. Is this little light supposed to stay on? or how do I get it to turn off?? thank you :)

mines on all the time. Could it be from when they put daytime running lights on it when it came up from usa to canada to pass our gay federal inspection:confused:

Then you must drive with your headlights in the ON position all the time then.

Yes, our cars always have the headlights on, all the time, we don't have a switch for that.

our trucks have what is called "daytime running lights" which means when you drive around in the day the head lights stay on but no tail lights are on with DRL's.

No, the daytime running lights are the orange side markers, not the headlights ( on the 2010s anyway ).

My truck had aftermarket fog lights wired in and my green light stays on all the time, too. It has nothing to do with high / low beam or whether the fog light switch is depressed or not. I suspect it is the way in which the technician wired them up. I am not an electrical fellow, but I do know how to cut a piece of electrical tape. I just took the gauge cluster out and put electrical tape over the green light. Oh, by the way, that black tape also fixed my TPMS!!!! LOL!!!

Im pretty sure mine are from the DRL module they had to install in order to pass the fed inspect (US '05 tacomas had no DRL's) and we have to get them if we import from the us in order pass fed inspection. I have imported 5 sti's and had to do them on a few (2)

my green light is on when the headlights are on, regardless of the fogs. I would like to have a fog light indicator because I can't tell sometimes if they are off or on

I can take my cluster apart and take pixs if you folks want, just say the word. I'm down to about 8 minutes now taking it apart.
