Installed two brand new CV axles today. Took about 2.5 hours, longer than planned. But now its good as new... no funky "clanking" noise.

I dropped off a box of parts at a driveline shop so they could reassemble my front CVs with the longer axles to work with the Camburg LT kit.

Reassembly requires a press, which I don't have, so I decided to let the professionals do their thing.

the lower spring on the passenger side brake that holds the shoes broke, which made the brakes squeak like hell. It only took me about 25 minutes to fix though with a new spring. I hate drum brakes.

changed the coolant as well. Does anyone know where the drain plug for the engine is on the 3RZ-FE?

Installed my Sirius satellite antenna permanently this morning, mounted it in front of the third brake light. I basically glued it to the roof with silicone, then drilled a microscopic hole for the wiring then silicone sealed that. Looks professional, I took my time to do it right.

I got a free toolbox! Friend of mine had a boyfriend leave her a motorcycle when he passed, she needed ramps to get it on and off the trailer. Round about 5 years ago a neighbor gave me a set of ramps, I had no use for them so me and her traded for the tool box that was in her truck when she bought it!

Long ago I asked if anyone knew if a 2nd gen toolbox will fit a 1st gen bed...yup, it does!
