    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    Put it this way, you have an 07. There are guys here with older trucks running the same tires with never having to change a u-joint. A u-joint shouldn't go out on an o7 regardless.

    How long have you had the lift?

    If they say it is a u-joint and say the lift is causing extra strain and won't warranty, take it home and change the joint yourself. If it just started suddenly after mudding I would say it is not likely, unless you broke one which would be obvious.
    If the truck is under warranty I would take it to them to check it out, and don't worry about admitting you were off road (these trucks are made for that). If they find damage warranty won't cover you have the option of paying them to fix it, or doing it yourself, or take it somewhere else. Depending on what the problem is, it may be doing more damage to keep driving it the way it is.

    OK update;

    Took it in toyota and thank you for TSBs. It ended up being a transmission mount gone bad, but appearantly there is a TSB from toyota for this. So who knows if i actually caused it. Anyways im very excited i don't have to shell out any money that i don't have! And for you guys having this problem take your truck in and see if its the mounts.

    I am aware of the TSB but it specifically states that it's for vibration between 15mph and 25mph.

    So they did the tsb today and it fixed most of it, but its still does it a little every once in awhile. Toyota says they don't know what it is but everything is checking out okay. So they started a case with the toyota service bulletin to see if they can find anything out. They did say it was okay for me to drive it to GA for the holidays. So i guess i will wait and see what they say, he did however mention it could be a krink in the driveshaft, but it would be covered under warranty.

    Took it back in today, they told me my driveshaft was bad. They said the lift caused it to go bad. I argued with them that there are thousands of tacomas lifted without the driveshaft going bad. He then replied "well, ive never had this problem on a non-lifted tacoma." Either way they said they would cover it under warranty this one time and not if it happens again. Oh well im thankful they are doing this for me.
