Front Bench seat seatbelt..

asking a Q for my co-worker..

Her father-in-law has a gen 2 Tacoma with a front bench seat.. She told me about the "middle seat" having 2 seatbelt buckles.. the normal one with the push button, and the other side also "clips" into something "i.e. the side that would normally by attached to the door frame side.. She said that once they were able to remove that clip, but can't figure out how to now..

Any insight??
