Tranny saturation ...

    Went under the truck yesterday and noticed on my transmission that where there are 2 pieces of what "looks" like dried clay thats pretty saturated with something that I am guessing is tranny oil. They feel pretty wet to the touch.

    Is that normal or no?

    sorry its a shitty cell phone picture but if you take a quick look at your tranny you will probably notice 2 pieces of about 3/4" brown plates wedged somewhere towards the end. just see is it looks wet at all when you get out :)
