Doing some cruising It seemed that there was a limiter? as it seemed like the engine shut down around 110 to 115 MPH? Is that the norm for 08 TRD V6:burnrubber: Dble cab?

I have a 2.7L and have had my truck up to 120 mph with no problems and have never experienced any limiter of any kind. The only reason I haven't really taken it any faster is that I couldn't keep it on the road. It gets pretty hairy at any speed over about 118mph. God I love the Autobahn!!
