    Hello everyone, Im in the market for a used Tacoma. found an 05 4x4 manual. but it has 90K. would this be a bad buy? i have been trying to research problems that tacomas have after a certain milage, but havent found anything. I plan to get its carfax... Please leave me some feedback! Thanks!

    Its going for $13,999. 05' manual i4, 4x4 SR5. Access cab, looks pretty clean. I figured the 4 banger would get better mpg than the 6. but reading some posts, its not much more. Ive done as much homework as I can so far. I had a 96' 4runner, n that thing was a beast. loved it. i know toyota makes a great product. would like to get back into one, while staying within the budget! Thanks for your reply

    you know, i think i bought that 4runner with 70k. just kept oil in it when scheduled, and had it up until 140k. then it was totaled. Damn good vehicles.

    I just hit 170K on my '01 PreRunner DC. I've only had minor problems, and none of them have left me stranded.

    Nice. Yeah, the more im thinking of it, the more im wanting to make the move. What about the mpg between 4 cyl n the 6 cyl?

    I get ~16-17 mpg, and I drive like an idiot. I rarely go less than 75 on the freeway, and I'm running 285's with stock gears (4.11).

    Nah, was too late. It was in Napa, couldn't get there till Sat. But I got my eye on another. Cant wait. I use to have a 96' Runner, it was a beast. Took it hunting up in Covelo. Shit, I was climbing trees with it. How long u had yours?
