    I am past due for my 60 k service on my 06 prerunner. Can not pay 600. to dealer....what service is really necessary at this mileage?

    go to a reputable shop instead of a dealer. i bet they charge maybe 2/3's of that. maybe even less. they have guides on exactly what needs to be done.

    that's what my experience has always taught me.

    You should reference your owners manual. All of the stated maintenance items are in there with time intervals. Use it.
