    heres a thread for write ups on first gens, from simple repairs to mods.

    i posted something earlier asking for help and got the response of google it, i used google and ran into problems because of a lack of visual image

    ill start first gens only though

    Materials : 9mm socket, socket extension, ratchet, drain pan, rags, brake cleaner, star sockets, transmission fluid, and idk what size drain bolt is, mines afte market



    first pull drain plug on trans. pan and let fluid drain

    then undo all bolts and pry pan off with a screw driver

    you will have to undo the pan from the dipstick

    (black thing)
    once pan is removed take out magnets and clean in pan and magnets

    scrape all toyota gunk outta pan and transmission
    tranny fluid change 3.jpg
    undo filter and wash off with brake cleaner (optional)

    check for any large metalic particals

    bolt filter back on

    bolt pan back on and put fill tube back on

    fill with trans fluid (mine took bout 4qts)
