Aftermarket Traction Assist

Has anybody installed any aftermarket traction assist devices (limited slip , posi , locker, etc. ) in a 2wd , 4cyl truck. Mine has the factory installed 'wrong wheel drive'.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

There have been lots of people that have installed one of these in a Tacoma. Lock right is a popular one. Personally, if you just need a Limited slip, I think the Detroit True Track is a good unit.

Some people have bought $35 helper springs from Autozone, etc and mounted them backwards. Has the effect of limiting axle wrap and wheel hop so you get better traction. Also, getting stiffer rear suspension helps (lift or TSB if you can), but at $35 or so the helpers are the cheapest option.
