What Options Are Available For Treating/Preventing Corrosion?

    I just bought my first truck yesterday. Its a 2006 V6 Tacoma 4 x 4. The bottom of the truck (the frame) has some rust on it. Overtime, its just going to get worst. I live in Upstate NY, and we get alot of snow. They use alot of salt on the roads in the winter. Is there any way to treat the corrision I already have on there, and prevent any further corrosion?
