I bought my FJ thinking that all of them come with a rear power outlet. Much to my dismay my own truck disproved that theory. I've been asking around to see if anyone know how to install the oem parts to make it work. The parts guys had no idea and a mechanic said he would need to tear apart one that had it to take a look and see. Does anyone know what I could do to look into this more? I figured someone else may have tried it on a tacoma that they wanted to have the trd outlet.

I looked into it. $$$ Way too rich for my blood. Just the cubby hole and trim kit was several hundred dollars. When I do get around to it, I'll rivet an outdoor outlet inside the existing cubby hole. I will also have a more powerful inverter than a stock TRD.

I was trying to do stock since the investor splurged on all this extended warranty crap and I'm trying to keep from affecting it.
