Scan Gauge Correction Factor

I haven't seen a thread on what people set their correction/calibration factor to.

I'm not sure if every truck if different, or if every SG is different, but I have set the correction factor anywhere between 12.6% and 13.8%. Currently it is at 13.0%. This is for a 2010 V6 double cab automatic.

I figure if I calibrate a number of times in different temps and locations after different driving scenarios, I should come up with an average. Right now the average of the above 3 is 13.13%.

What are other people's values?

Hi, I just got a scangauge and have performed 4 fill-ups thus far. I have adjusted the correction factor at each fillup to a value between 8.6% - 12% As of this afternoon, my most recent fillup, it is set at 10.5%. I am curious to see what other say as well. I have specifically used the same fuel pump as recommended by Scangauge and still always have to adjust the value a little bit each time. Hope this helps.

Oh, BTW, I am a 2010 Double Cab V6 TRD Sport

 

ive had mine for about 2 months and my correction factor is down to about 6% now. it started at around 13 or 14 i believe

 

I haven't mounted mine yet so i haven't been driving with it plugged in, except I did it today for about 4 miles to the gas station and back, but I didn't understand the fill up part at all..its confusing what do you need to do?

 

Mine goes down to 6-8% when using 91, and up to 12-13% on regular 87.
