    I started my truck this morning and i heard a "claak" sound so i turned it over again and this is what i saw

    probably head gasket, check your coolant level to see if it is going down

    Sometimes that's all it takes. I would definitely not drive it until it's repaired.

    So i check the coolant and cant see no coolant...

    You saw no coolant....that's not good. Looks like u need to drop in a rebuilt with supercharger :D hope you get it ready in time for Pismo Jamboree in Sept

    buddy had a 3.4 he smacked another truck with and crushed the rad. and overheated for 2 minutes...blew his head gasket and warped the block....

    4.0 would be sick, but I think u would need a new computer and beefed up tranny/rear end. I'm gonna need one eventually and I'm gonna try for a supercharged 3.4L. I read about Chevy 4.3L being swapped in 1st gens. That a nice motor too.

    Just pour some Monster in it and you'll die of old age before your engine does. It will also be faster than a supercharged 5.7 Tundra.
