While driving to work after PT today my check engine light came on so I took my truck into advanced auto for them to do the free scan and they came back with error code p0012 camshaft double retarded or something like that. I'm taking it to the dealer this afternoon after I get off, does anyone know about how much this will cost to fix?

It depends on what the cause is. Googling around, it can be anything from a skipped tooth on a cam gear to just a little oil blockage at the OCV.

Put some good oil additive it go beat the dog shit out of it and change the oil while it's still hot try to clean the blockage out of the ocv

Thanks for all the advice. I was able to clear the code and get it checked at the dealer. so far it's been about a week and no issues with the truck other than the rubbing grinding sound that apparently adding differential fluid to my truck fixed? Of course the sound came after the dealer had already done a diff service on both front and rear diffs.
