Hey everyone I am posting this to see how many of you use synthetic oil and how many of you use conventional oil. This is for a technical report that i am doing for my technical writing class and posting your opinions will help me out greatly.
    Thanks,
    Tim

I use Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic. Its always given good protection, and my oil samples always come back really good.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Valvoline Durablend. I have thought about going to a full synthetic but I have used this oil in my 97 Tacoma with 140K with no issues.

I use either Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum - which ever one is cheaper at the time.

Amsoil 5w-30, switched over at 3,800 miles. We have somewhat extreme temp.swings here and it sounded like that is where this oil performs very well. Happy so far...
