Hey guys. I got my lights fixed, but I got another question. How much of a pain is it to replace the timing belt on an 01 3.4 v6. Do ya'll have any breakdowns or advice. The truck is comming up on 100k.

    Thanks

    getting there....
i havent seen it or done it on the 3.4 any, but you may want to get a chiltons or haynes manual, as there should be a step by step "how to" in there thats pretty informative. i'll do a search on google and see if i can come up with something else though.

see if this has any good info in it....bout all i could find...

Broken and scratched tailgate, cracked rear tail light lens, coffee stain in driver seat.
One of my outlaws (he really is an inlaw, but he ain't no good) is about to breach the timing belt mileage and it's going to drop him between 900-1200 dollars, might be prudent to wrench it yourself.

You did yours ? This was a dealer price for parts and labor. I saw the estimate, did not see vaseline, HMM... might have been in the small print.

The dealership charged me $260.00 I didn`t think that was too bad. I know if I did it myself and botched the job, 260 would seem cheep.
