    Dear Apple Nerd:

This is more of a question for a Linux Nerd; but, I don't see one on here

Is there any application you can recommend that would allow me to transfer music and pictures to my Iphone 4 using my Linux Mint 15 System!?

I've tried Rythmbox, Banshee, several other recommend ones, as well as trying to run Itunes in Wine; all to no avail

Anybody who buys there iPhone at Best Buy... DO NOT GET THE GSP. Geek Squad Protection for iPhones is HORRIBLE! the iPhone 5 is on backorder STILL so i have to wait 14 days for my replacement... Now im stuck with a droid for two weeks. sad enough... The droid isnt that bad.

Yes, I have; didn't work out for me
Can't remember exactly what didn't work with that one; but, I do remembering trying it
I can get some programs to detect, read, and pull things off the Iphone just fine; but, can't get anything to work as far as synching/transfering goes
I've read that this is a pretty common for this specific distro; might try out a different one all together

Thanks a lot for the suggestion

Another option would be to try a Windows Vitrual Machine using something like Virtual Box.

There's a thread that deals with Linux Mint. I don't know if you've asked there.

Walmart & Best Buy are now discounting the 5C's ... against Apple's pricing policy ...

I can't figure out why Netflix on my iPad won't stream through the HDMI cord to my tv anymore. Its always streamed properly until yesterday. As of today, when I try to stream netflix, an error bubble pops us and says "this streaming device is unavailable... If your using airplay the disable mirroring"

I'm not sure if it's my iPad or if it's a new netflix thing. I can stream other Apps to my tv through the HDMI connection (ie. Crackle, HULU), but not Netflix.

Anyone know if this is an iPad glitch or a netflix issue? Maybe I accidentally adjusted something that screwed with my netflix settings?

    Thanks

I bet apple will stop letting them sell the phones all together. From a few things i have read apple is super strict about places discounting there products.

... ^^^ ... Before now, I would say yes too ... but the 5C is not doing very well either.

It will be interesting to see what Apple does ... and Best Buy now has a "Mini-Samsung" section (with factory rep) in local store now.

I love Apple products (especially, iPads, laptops and iPhones) ... but Samsung is doing very well in cell phones.

And both Samsung & Apple have both come from almost ZERO to the top in last 10-15 years.
