Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
All my family and friends that have iPhones can't go more than a day without charging (except my wife, thats because she doesn't ever use it, not even the phone). It all depends on your use, but you get an app-killer app and I can make my battery last longer than any iPhone I have met.

I'm anti apple, but at the same time, if that is what you have for everything else, than stick with it.

IMO, it's almost worth waiting to see if the iPhone 5 is released on the Verizon network. If it is, and if it has a 4"+ screen I'll probably get that too.

    Hey OP.,

I was gun ho on the iPhone. So gun ho I left Verizon when the 3GS came out and went to ATT. I spent maybe 15-20 days when the service was so horrid I went back to Verizon and got the first Moto Droid. Not as smooth or easy to use as the iPhone, but I am a geek. When the Incredible came out, I changed to it and I will tell you this. I have no desire or want to get an iPhone. None.... I'm android for the foreseeable future. I'm a geek and the customizable aspect just rocks. I have activated 2 VZ iPhones this week at work and they both work extremely well the users both BB converts love them. I rather have a ton of crappy apps with some amazing ones, than whatever Apple deems fit.

Google is and will continue to take over Apples domain.

Anyway, all that just to say you can't go wrong with either. But the Android is just to good to leave for Apple and their forceful one dimensional world.

Sounds like you answered your own question.
If price is not a large variable, get the iPhone 4 now. If you don't like it, sell it on ebay and make a profit. Then get an android device. If you don't like it, sell it on ebay and get you're money back. Get the iPhone 5 (if on Verizon). Problem solved.
