    Anyone interested?

I can make custom sliders for your Jailbroken iPhone, but am limited to the amount of time a week I can spend making them.

Can have custom sliders to: Unlock screen (gray), Answer call (green), and Shutdown phone (red).

For example, a few I've made:

NOTE: THIS WORKS FOR iOS 4.2.1 THE DIRECTORIES FOR OTHER iOS VERSIONS COUPLE POSSIBLY BE LOCATED IN OTHER SECTIONS OF THE ROOT FOLDER. DO THIS MOD AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Follow the steps explained in this tutorial. You need to have Cydia installed on the device: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-53xU-Pjq-I

This explains how to install OpenSSH onto your iDevice and WinSCP onto your computer. These programs allow you to go in and access the root folders on your iDevice.

Once installed and connected, click on the highlighted "folder up" button on WinSCP until you're at the main Root folder.

To access the folder for the slider images, follow this directory:

    //System -> Library -> PrivateFrameworks -> TelephonyUI.Frameworks

Once in this directory, the highlighted filenames are the ones you'll need to replace for your slider bar. The file format MUST be .png, otherwise it won't work. The file name must also much letter for letter the file name that you see in the folder. And lastly, you must delete the files "bottombarknobred@x2" "bottombarknobgray@x2" and "bottombarknobgreen@x2",

    For the M4:
    http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/3267/bottombarknobred.png
    http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/7220/bottombarknobgreen.png
    http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/5774/bottombarknobgrayr.png

    For the Tiny Tacoma:
    http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/3267/bottombarknobred.png
    http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/7220/bottombarknobgreen.png
    http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/3471/bottombarknobgray.png

The file names must be (followed by a .png file extension):
    Gray - bottombarknobgray
    Red - bottombarknobred
    Green - bottombarknobgreen

You must have a jailbroken iPhone, or iPod touch

    After that, it's easy

I'm unfamiliar with Macs. For all I know, it should work the same? Just download OpenSSH on your phone and then find any sort of FTP program that you could download and install on your mac. Doesn't matter how it works, when you connect to the phone, everything should be the same.

In my opinion, no. There are a total of 4 iPhones, and 1 iPad in my house. Every single item is jailbroken.

When an iPhone, or iPad, is jailbroken, It puts two key files onto your device. One is Cydia, the other is Installous. Cydia is the platform that lets you download all sorts of tweaks to your device so that you can customize it and make it your own, such as different transitions from page-to-page while at the home screen. Installous has almost EVERY app from the Apple App store, the only difference is that they are free.

Click settings on your iPhone, go to General, and About... What version are you running?

You're on the Verizon network? Okay. Do NOT update your firmware anymore, especially if you jailbreak the phone. The entire point of Apple putting out firmware updates is to block the loopholes that people use in order to create the software... basically, if you update your phone through iTunes while it's jailbroken... you wipe it ALL off

I'm trying to find which version of Jailbreak software you'd need now
