Share your experiences? And comments on any particular models

I bought some Dre Beats Solo HD's and returned them after being thoroughly disappointed with them.

Im borrowing some Bose QuietComfort 15s right now which arent too bad, but I feel its lacking a little bass.

Anybody wanna share any models and enlighten me on some better models out there?

i've got the quietcomfort 3s right now and love them. keep in mind they're only as good as what they're plugged in to. in my laptop these headphones sound like shit but my desktop's got mega sound quality goodness and they sound amazing

I had a pair of Sony in-ear MDR XB series headphones that I picked up for about $50.00 which sounded really good but my lil' man's cheapy skull candy headphones broke so I gave him mine. Bought the Dr.Dre Beat Tours and the Sony's that I had hit harder then the Beat Tours. I also have a pair of the over the ear Sony MDR-XB's that hit pretty hard. Worth checking out.

Im really looking for detailed sound with good bass. Im liking my Bose QC15s more and more just wondering if Im missing something else out there.

COPDOCTOR: elaborate a little more on sound quality, how can I get the best sound quality. I usually download music from iTunes and Im confident its not the best out there, right?

I just use this when Im at my desktop, surfing the net and listening to music. They never really leave my desk. Occasionally Ill use them when the wife and I go snowboarding to listen to music (she wants the car quiet so she can sleep some more on the way up, because being up before the sun is just unacceptable)
