Anyone ever replaced the screen on an Iphone 4?

Not mine, but a buddy dropped his and cracked the screen

AT&T won't replace it unless he gives them like $200

any suggestions on site to order a new screen? tips?

I always wondered why they made a glass screen. Doesn't make sense to me.

I think they can be replaced for about $35 if they want to tear it apart on their own. Ebay sells them. Instructions on Youtube.

    Also, Android FTW.

Back of the phone is 30. Easy and can do it Yourself. But front, I wouldn't attempt. Buddy works at one and wouldnt do it for me, had his tech do it. But the employees do get some sort of discount thing they can give people to make it cheaper.
