My phone just deleted all of my photo library.

I went to go select a picture from my library, and it said that it was "rebuilding the library" after it got throught rebuilding, all my pictures are gone. Is there anyway to get my pictures back? I haven't backed my phone up in a few months, so a lot of the pictures will be gone.
