Thanks for the feedback man - I appreciate it!

Thanks for this! Do you work at the main campus? My brother has worked for Microsoft there for going on 15 years now and loves it. He was part of the team that built SharePoint so I may be hitting him up for some tips.

Again, thanks for all of the tips guys - I really appreciate it.

    DblCabMN,

Thanks for the e-mail! Much appreciated!

I work in Redmond, but not directly on main campus. I work about 10 minutes away on one of the 4 or 5 other Microsoft campuses in the Redmond/Seattle area.

Let me know if you have any more questions. I don't really work on web technologies any more - all my work lately is with Dynamics CRM solutions but I would be glad to try to help.

Currently we are big on .NET, ASP and SQL. SQL is huge because it is the only way we are able to pull data directly from our LOS (Loan Origination System). We do this mainly for reporting (monthly volume, YTD, volume for each loan status...).

We are using a program/editor called IronSpeed for our reporting site currently, and while it is quite user friendly, the room for customization is minimal - we are trying to dress it up as much as possible right now, and then integrate it directly with our intranet eventually.

    Much appreciated man!

    Thanks Ben!

Late on this, but what about using Common Access Cards (CAC) with PKI certs for your single-signon rather than username/passwords? I work for DOD and that's what we use. Most DOD sites are CAC-Enabled so you don't need a username password to access the site, just a CAC with a valid cert. The end-user only has to remember a 6-digit pin.

It's also good for digitally signing emails and documents.

You can get a free certificate authority software called EJBCA (Enterprise Java Beans Certificate Authority).

I was beginning to think I was the only one. I see a lot of Tacoma's on campus, but have only ever seen 1 modded, and I have never seen it on TW.

Hey - a fellow softie! Which campus are you at? I'm usually moving between Lincoln Square, SAMM and MILL. Technically my office is in MILL.

The only modded Taco I see on campus is in MILL. It's pretty nice actually. An MGM Taco with sliders, front and rear bumpers, CB, Icon RR coilovers, etc.

Nice, you're close! I come to MILL every now and then as that's where most of my group is at, but my office is on the old Safeco campus, which I guess would technically be Corporate North.

Does the Taco you see in MILL happen to look anything like this...:spy:

Ding Ding Ding! That is exactly the one I'm talking about. I was going to tell the guy 'nice build' if I ever saw him but never seen him yet in the flesh.

Feel free to stop by and say hello if you come down to MILL or shoot me an email - I'm in E-1147. I have the Timberland Mica DCLB with the sliders and tonneau.
