Owners can check their serial number, and if eligible, order a replacement online.

Hey I have a question maybe someone can help me with.

I found an Apple Ipod Nano a few months backs and I have been using it. My question is since I didn't buy it can I still get the recalling upgrade?

IIRC It's just based on Serial Number of the device you have and having an Apple ID....So I don't see a reason you can't try...

Yeah I'm waiting to get home to give it a try. Just didn't want to put my hopes up high.

    Too many to list

These were sold back in 2005-2006, no ipod that I know of had a camera at the time.

I will be sending my nano out tomorrow, they said 4-6 weeks to get a replacement back.

Apple approved mine based on serial number, but I had to call (the online system didn't work for me). They're supposed to be sending me a mailer, but it's been three weeks and it hasn't arrived yet. I guess it's time to call back and ask where the mailer is...

Sweet!! I checked mine online and it will be replaced...

It was getting hot when it charged, but 6 years of use ain't bad...

    Nice find.
