Just wanted to share this with the rest of yall

    http://preyproject.com/

Basically, it's software you can put on your computers, phones, tablets etc and it helps recover them if they are ever lost or stolen

I'm running it on both my phone and laptop after seeing it in action a couple times at work

We've recovered several laptops stolen during burglaries using this software at work

It's pretty cool...when a device is activated as missing, and connects to the internet, it will send you a GPS report, screenshot, and if equipped, a picture of the person using the device

It's been very helpful in solving several burglaries recently for our department

    oh...and it's free!

That is nice. I've seen some apps like this but they can be fairly pricey. This being free is awesome. i'm interested to see how well it works. I may try to play with it and see if i can wipe the machine to reload it if it is installed.

    neglect, mostly.
thats pretty awesome but a little scary. I don't trust technology very much. I built this computer one time in the future to play chess, but then it learned to think. . . . and, well, you know the rest of the story.

"The idea of the Nibiru encounter originated with Nancy Lieder, a Wisconsin woman who claims that as a girl she was contacted by gray extraterrestrials called Zetas, who implanted a communications device in her brain"

I admit you got me curious; however... :D

    (OP) Thanks for the info.
