Satellite Phone Recommendations for 9 month Rental

Did a search and nothing.

My wife is deploying for about 9 months to the Med area and will be hitting alot of ports. Instead of buying sim cards and an unlocked phone at all the ports she will pull into I was wondering if there was a Satellite phone rental company anyone has used and can recommend.

I have researched a little but the best I have found is like 29 dollars a week! There has got to be something better than that.

Any help is appreciated.

 

Dude, those sat phones are so darn expensive - the calls are expensive too.

If she's going to a lot of ports, the cell coverage should be good, so a sat phone is overkill really.
