Am I imagining things, or did my neighbors find someone else's wifi to connect to? What am I looking at here?

My only other guess is a television antennae, but the thing is obviously directional. Maybe for a foreign station?

Probably line of sight radio internet. Fairly cheap as no wiring needs to be laid. Usually has data caps. Digis is one vendor off hand.

Probably some kind of antenna. If they are Mexican, it may be picking up some tele from over there. Is it pointed south?

I'd be more worried about the rusted ass garbage it's mounted to...

I think they were failing long before they put that thing up.... it looks like shit.

This makes the most sense so far. I just cant find a service locally that has a tower in that direction.

I am looking at it in the second photo facing due south. It is pointed northwest-ish.

Good if there's something specific you're looking for, or in my area most of the antenna signals come from one main central location. Point it that way and you can maximize your reception.

Winch, front hitch, step bars, bed extender, bed step, gull-wing toolbox, tailgate lock, security system, cb radio, etc.
I have three similar television antennas on my property (mounted on my radio tower), aimed at stations in nearby towns not carried by my cable television provider.

I also feed a signal into them occasionally to view inside houses in my neighborhood. ;)
