I'm not really sure how everything works for this. I understand how Limewire works and I can get stuff for that, but uTorrent seems a little different for downloading programs. Can anyone help me understand this?

I use Vuze. But its quite simple

    1. go to your favorite torrent site... I use mininova.org
    2. Find whatever pleases you
    3. The downloaded will be downloaded through whatever program you're using (uTorrent or Vuze)
    4. Find the file whatever you downloaded was saved to.
    5. Its that simple!

I use uTorrent. Used to use Azureus, but it is too bloated now. uTorrent is much much leaner and less resource hungry.

I'll have to check that out too. I've been trying to figure out www.btjunkie.org

It seems like everything I download needs to be burned to a disc first before I can do anything with it. Does this seem right?

Get an emulation tool like dameon tools. You can then run the image (which is what you are downloading if you need to burn it first to use it) and install or what ever from there.

utorrent won't let me download anything with my wireless router and claims I need to setup a static IP for outgoing transmissions, but I can't repair this porblem. Linksys is no help for setting this up and I've never had the issues with limewire. Any ideas?

Are you sure the correct ports are open on your router firewall? I have started just completely shutting down the router firewall when I want to download and I only use the windows firewall.

thats the other problem, for some reason I can't access my Linksys web based router setup. When I set it up, I password protected it and to get to it, i need the username and password, but to no avail its not working to let me login. :(

    Hi, Hhost96Romeo
They are right, may be when you do the set up on your linksys router, you select only wired device can login to your router.
use the cat5 cable to login to your router and open up the port, also make sure on the windows base firewall, open up the port too.
Worse case, if u forget your password, you have to reset your linksys wireless router.

Also how about we post the site here to share the BT site? Also I have some site you do not have to use BT, if you have a rapidshare account, you can get a ton of stuff.
let me know if you want it. I can post the link here.

I've got a Linksys Router, and you don't have to be wired to set it up. Hold the reset button in on the back for 15 seconds and reset the thing. It will set it back to factory defaults, so you'll have to set everything back up, and then do port forwarding to your computer. Once you reset it, the user name is blank and password is 'admin' to login.

I think default username and password for Linksys routers is admin. Try typing in 192.186.1.1 to get to the login and then putting admin for both username and password.
