Was on the google play store, seen pc remote apps... tried 2 of them with fail. Anyone ever do something like this with their android? Would be cool to control my pc from anywhere withmy phone.

Spashtop Remote Desktop. I used to use it all the time from my tablet (and phone).. worked great. I think it's access from your own LAN unless you pay for the pro version of Splastop 2.
Or you could run free vnc server on your PC and connect with the android vnc viewer from anywhere, provided you set up your firewall/router to let you in, and have some sort of dynamic dns set up to find your PC anywhere/anytime.
