Its my moms ol laptop she dropped it and cracked the screen and bent the frame a little.

Its BRAND NEW never had anything installed on it shes never really used it.

It needs a screen and a new battery. Is it worth fixing? Ive unbolted the whole lid/screen can I just replace the LCD or am I better to find a whole lid/screen on ebay

Will post pix in a min from my phone.

Thanks guys hopefully someone can help, she gave it to me to fix (if I wanted to) she doesnt use it and dont think she wants it back-may give it to the lil lady if she doesnt want it...

    Thanks

I just replaced the screen on a 3 year old hp laptop with windows7. It was also in prestine condition. It cost my aunt $360 just for the screen, I did the work. She paid $700somethin when she bought the computer. You still need a battery, so it might get pricey.

In theory, you should be good. Better than how it turned out for me anyways. What I do know is that he screen model is inside the screen itself, so I hope it works out for you bud.
