    Call Microsoft and explain what happened. Sometimes they will give you a new key.

    i talked to the school reps and they said they will give me a product key for office 365 or whatever the new thing is, but i need Office 07.

    i'm just trying to find a quick solution and someone to help me out, the easiest way possible. i have a monday deadline for some stuff, so if i can just get a key i can transfer everything straight over. right now i'm just typing stuff into notepad for now. :derp:

    Why do you need a 2007 code? You can open the doc in the newer versions.

    Also, LibreOffice is free

    short answer is that me and several others working on this research are still on WinXP.....not saying that's a good idea or whatever, just happens to be the case and office 2013 and 365 are not compatible with XP
