This is a pretty cool site. https://archive.org/web/

Enter in a URL and it will give you options to see what the page was like at an earlier date. It only works with websites that allow webcrawlers (tacomaworld doesn't work).

I was curious how much my per unit tuition was at my university as compared to today. I plugged in the old URL and was able to look all the way back to 1996. When I graduated in 2001, the tuition was $660/unit or $9K for 12-18 units. Today it's $1460/unit or $21K for 12-18 units.

reminds me years ago when my wife asked our neighbor if we could get the internet around where we live and her husband said " you can get on the yahoo over at the library" and we just looked at each other and wondered what in the heck a yahoo is.
