What's up guys. Having an issue with my phone. It's a ZTE T-Mobile phone from Wal-Mart. Playstore keeps opening at random, and it comes up with a different game every time. I have heard about this happening to people that are online on their phones, but this happens to me even when I am just checking my texts or looking at my pictures in my gallery. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not smartphone savvy, I've only had this thing for a few months.

You got an app that has an ad that is trying to get you to DL something from the playstore.

Whatever you have recently installed remove.

I don't think I've installed anything in like a month.
Could it be from a phone update?

Doubtful it's an Android system update problem. With Android, you'd definitely know when a new update for the phone happened. It could be an app update. I'd look through the list of installed apps to see if there's something on there that you didn't realize was on there. Maybe a kid got ahold of your phone and downloaded something. The fact that it's opening to a game makes me think it's a game doing it. Does it open to a different game but the same company? It's possible a game you downloaded received an update. You could also search on any game installed and see if anyone else is complaining about the same problem.

I'd just start removing recently downloaded or updated apps to see what might be causing it. It's not a big deal to put them back on if it's not the problem.

Makes sense. I'll do that. I never thing to check and see if the fanes it opened to were from the same company. I'll be looking for that now.

I did a master reset (whatever you call it) after backing up everything, and haven't had the problem since.
