    ...oh, that would probably be the same schools and libraries that constantly come back to the taxpayer for levies that raise taxes on property owners, right?... I guess we aren't doing enough for them..?...

    Its not really net neutrality, its big govt regulating the web. Thats not a good thing.

    You're right. It's not. And there would have been no need for it at all except that Comcast decided to use their power to extort money from content providers for access to their network.

    Monopolists using their power to inhibit competition is also not a good thing.

    There are antitrust laws in place already that would prevent that, they just need to be enforced.
