does anyone know if its possible to change the resolution settings when doing a screen capture or print screen in windows xp? i'm working on a powerpoint presentation and need to take screen captures of several programs to incorporate into a PP slide but everything is turning up really pixelated and unreadable.

thanks in advance for the help.

It should be whatever resolution your desktop is set to I think..Print scrn basically takes an exact replica of your screen. Is it too big? maybe try re-sizing it with imaging software

that helped a bit. i was able to get a better resolution (default was 72dpi when copying the image to any program) and once i bumped it up to around 300 dpi in photoshop things were clearer.

I do a ton of documentation for work (which I should be doing right now - I have 48 hours of scheduled documentation writing), and I use Snagit. It's so impressive that I got the entire company to switch to it within a week.

if you have windows 7, the snipping tool does alright.
